Key takeaways
- FC AutoBuyer ships with a French translation built in. Nothing to download, nothing to pay for.
- You switch it in the extension popup, under Settings, and it changes straight away.
- It translates the extension: every screen, button, setting and warning message.
- It does not translate EA's Web App. That follows your EA account's own language setting.
- Your settings, filters and licence key are untouched by the switch. It is wording only.
What the French option actually covers
The translation is not a label here and there. Every piece of text the extension puts on your screen has a French version: the dashboard, the sniper settings, the safety limits, the setup steps, the run review screen, the activity list, and the error messages that appear when something goes wrong.
That last group matters more than it sounds. The messages you most need to understand are the ones that turn up when a run stops unexpectedly, and those are exactly the ones a half-finished translation tends to leave in English. "Le marche a demande de ralentir" is useful. "The market asked us to slow down" in the middle of an otherwise French screen is not.
How to switch to French
- Click the FC AutoBuyer icon in your browser toolbar to open the popup.
- Go to Settings in the left-hand menu.
- Find the Language section near the bottom.
- Pick Francais from the list.
The popup changes as you choose, with no reload and no restart. Switching back to English is the same three steps in reverse, and the choice is remembered, so you set it once.
What stays in English, and why
Two things do not change, and it is worth knowing which before you go looking for a setting that does not exist.
EA's Web App. The transfer market, the filters, the card names, the menus: none of that belongs to us. It is EA's page and it follows the language on your EA account. If you want the Web App in French, change it in your EA account settings, not here. The two are independent, so plenty of people run the extension in French over an English Web App, or the other way round.
This website. fcautobuyer.com is in English. We would rather put the effort into translating the thing you use every day than the pages you read once. If you are reading this in a translated browser tab, that is doing the job well enough.
Does it change how the bot behaves?
No. This is wording, nothing else. The searches it runs, the prices it reads, the speed it works at and the limits it obeys are all identical whichever language you pick. The numbers are formatted the same way too, so a price you set in English reads the same in French.
Your saved filters keep their names, because you wrote those. Your licence key is unaffected. Your run history stays where it is.
Other languages
English and French are what is in the extension now. If enough people ask for another one, it gets added, and the honest way to make that happen is to say so in the Discord. A language nobody has asked for is a language nobody proof-reads, and an unchecked translation is worse than none.
