How to build the best EA FC 27 team by sniping

The best teams in FC 27 are not built with coins someone sold you. They are sniped: one listing mistake, one extinct card, one bargain at a time. Here are the best cards we have caught, and how to build a team the same way.

Key takeaways

  • Start with a budget and a formation, then work out which cards you need most.
  • The biggest wins come from cards listed far too cheap by mistake, and from extinct cards that barely come up.
  • Build in layers: a linked core first, then upgrade one position at a time.
  • Sell the cards you do not need to fund the next one, never below what they cost you.
  • Keep spending limits on, so a good run never turns into an empty club.

Start with a budget, not a wish list

Pick a formation and write down the eleven players you would love to have. Then write down what you can actually spend. The gap between the two is what sniping closes, but only if you know which card you are chasing next.

Put the positions that matter most to how you play at the top of the list. For most people that is the striker and the midfield, not the left back.

The best cards we have sniped

These are real snipes from our own test runs. Some were listed far too cheap by mistake, some were extinct cards we caught the moment one came up.

Results vary. What a run catches depends on your filter, your internet speed and how many other snipers are after the same cards.

Where the big snipes come from

Nearly every big snipe is one of two things.

  • Listing mistakes. Someone types the wrong price, misses a zero or mixes up the start price and the Buy Now. The card sits there for a few seconds at a fraction of its value.
  • Extinct cards. Some cards are almost never on the market. When a copy does appear, the first person searching gets it, often well under what it would sell for.

Neither waits for you to click. That is why people use an autobuyer: it keeps searching and buys in a split second when one appears.

Build your team in layers

Do not try to buy the whole eleven at once. Build a core of players who link well together, then upgrade one position at a time.

  1. Snipe a solid, cheap core so the team works on the pitch today.
  2. Pick the one upgrade that will change your games the most.
  3. Set a filter for that card and let it run until it lands.
  4. Repeat with the next position.

Set a filter for each target

Save one filter for each card on your list, with a Max Buy Now well under its going rate so you only buy real bargains. Rotate between the filters so you are watching several targets at once. Our guide to the best autobuyer filter settings has sensible starting points.

Sell what you do not need

The cards you snipe along the way are coins waiting to happen. List the ones you will not use at the going rate, and use the profit to fund the next upgrade. FC AutoBuyer can list every card it buys straight back on the market at your price, never for less than it cost you after the 5% EA tax.

Keep your club safe

Set a max price per card, a budget for each run and the coins you always want to keep. Take breaks and keep search speeds sensible. Our guide to the transfer market soft ban explains why that matters.

FAQs

Snipe it. Set a budget, pick your most important upgrade and save a filter for it with a Max Buy Now well under the going rate, then sell the cards you do not need to fund the next one.

Yes, those are real snipes from our test runs. Big cards do get listed far too cheap by mistake now and then. Results vary with your filter, your connection and the competition.

The one that changes your games the most. For most players that is the striker or central midfield.

Keep spending limits on, take breaks and use sensible search speeds. Using any autobuyer breaks EA terms, so there is always some account risk.
