The best sniping filters for EA FC 27: who to snipe and when

The question we get asked most is simple: what filter should I use? The honest answer is that there is no single filter everyone should run. There are four kinds of card that get listed too cheap again and again, and a handful of times each week when it happens most.

Rogers, Kika Nazareth, Karchaoui and Lamine Yamal cards, all good sniping targets in EA FC 27

Key takeaways

  • There is no single best filter. If everyone runs the same one, nobody wins it.
  • New promo cards get listed too cheap because casual players do not price check them.
  • Meta women cards are often listed low, because many players never check what they are worth.
  • The FUT Gallery has pushed up silver prices. Sniping them at 2k or less can pay well.
  • Extinct cards are high risk and high reward. Be careful with cards that only rose on hype.
  • Friday 6pm UK, Weekend League and Sunday Squad Battles rewards are the busiest times for listings.
  • Whatever you snipe, always leave room for profit after the 5% EA tax.

Why there is no single best filter

When you buy FC AutoBuyer, the first thing you want is a good filter. We get asked for one every day. The problem with giving everyone the same answer is that everyone then runs the same search, and a snipe can only go to one person.

So instead of one filter, here are the four kinds of card that get listed too cheap again and again. Pick a few from each, save them as filters and rotate between them.

1. New promo cards

New promo cards are the best snipes in the game right now. This week alone we have seen huge snipes on Rațiu, Rogers and Isak. It happens because casual players open a new card, do not check the price and list it for what looks like a lot of coins to them.

2. Meta women cards

Women's cards are some of the best value in Ultimate Team, and some of the most under-priced on the market. Plenty of players never use them and never check what they are worth, so they list them far too low. That is your chance.

Good names to start with: Stanway, James, Kika Nazareth, Karchaoui, Salma Paralluelo and Diani.

Since the FUT Gallery arrived, silver cards have boomed. Some Gallery teams need silvers that now sell for 3,000 coins or more each. Snipe those at 2,000 or less and the profit adds up fast.

Check FUT.GG's FUT Gallery page. It shows every solution, so you can see which silvers are in demand before you build your filters.

4. Extinct cards

Extinct cards are high risk, high reward. Some, like Riise, have not been on the market since launch, so when a copy does appear it is an easy choice for coins.

Others are riskier. Stanway has risen from around 10,000 to 50,000 on popular demand. Cards that climb on hype like that tend to get dumped when EA updates the price range, and the price can fall fast.

Be careful with extinct cards unless you are sure they are undervalued on the market.

The best times to snipe

More listings means more mistakes. These are the times the market is busiest:

  • Friday at 6pm UK. New content drops, packs get opened and cards flood the market.
  • Any time over the weekend while Weekend League is on.
  • Sunday, when Squad Battles rewards come in.
  • Random 6pm days. New packs in the store, Marquee Matchups or tradeable SBC rewards can all trigger more listings than usual.

Our guide to the best time to buy and sell goes deeper on the weekly rhythm.

Snipe anyone, but leave room for profit

In the end you can snipe any card, as long as there is always room for profit. A simple way to start: search a popular meta player and set your Max Buy Now well under the going rate.

Say Lamine Yamal is selling for around 340,000. Search for him at a max of 300,000. Every copy you catch is a guaranteed profit, even after the 5% EA tax, and now and then someone lists one for a tiny amount, like 20,000, by mistake.

Prices move every day, so check the going rate before every session. Our guide to price checking players shows how.

FAQs

There is no single best one. The cards that get listed too cheap most often are new promo cards, meta women cards, FUT Gallery silvers and extinct cards. Save a few of each and rotate between them.

Friday at 6pm UK when new content drops, over the weekend during Weekend League, on Sunday when Squad Battles rewards come in, and on any 6pm with new packs, Marquee Matchups or tradeable SBC rewards.

They can be, but they are high risk. Cards that have not been on the market since launch are good targets. Cards that only climbed on hype can drop fast when EA updates the price range.

Enough to leave a profit after the 5% EA tax. For a card around 340,000, searching at a max of 300,000 leaves a clear margin on every copy you catch.
