Top 10 best ShortFuts alternatives for EA FC 27.

shortfuts auto is a Chrome extension that snipes Buy Now listings for the rest of EA FC 27. If you want something cheaper, something with harder spending limits, or something you can try before you pay, here are ten alternatives compared on price, on where each one runs, and on what stops them overspending.

Key takeaways

  • Nearly every tool here is a Chrome extension that runs inside the official Ultimate Team Web App. The big exception is FUTMania, which runs a bot on its own servers and takes a cut of what it earns.
  • Prices run from a £7.99 one-off key to well over £170 for a year on the dearest plan. Paying more does not reliably buy you a faster snipe; it usually buys you more features around the sniping.
  • The thing most buyers forget to check is what stops the bot. A sniper with no hard spending limit can empty a club in a bad run.
  • Only two tools on this list let you try before you pay without handing over a card.
  • Autobuying breaks EA's rules whichever tool you choose. Nothing on this page changes that.

Who wrote this, and how we ranked it

Disclosure. This page is published by FC AutoBuyer, and FC AutoBuyer is ranked first on it. We sell the product at number one. This is not an independent review site, and you should read it as what it is: our own case, with the competition set out as accurately as we can manage.

So that the ranking is something you can actually argue with, here is what it is based on, in order:

  1. Total cost for one season, including anything that renews or takes a commission.
  2. Hard spending limits that are checked before coins leave your club, not warnings after the fact.
  3. Where it runs. In your own browser, or on somebody else's server with your account connected to it.
  4. Whether you can try it without a card, an email or an account confirmation.
  5. How clear it is about the risk of a transfer ban.

It is not ranked on popularity, and we should say plainly that FC AutoBuyer is the newest and smallest tool on this list. Several of the extensions below have far more users than we do. If you want the most established option rather than the cheapest or the most careful one, that is a perfectly sensible thing to want, and the entries below say who those are.

Nothing here is a paid placement, no one paid to be included or left out, and we earn no commission from any other tool listed. Every price is attributed to where it came from and dated, because these change often. Chrome Web Store figures were checked on 6 October 2026; prices marked 17 September 2026 come from our longer one-to-one comparisons and the vendor's own site on that date.

Why people look for a ShortFuts alternative

shortfuts auto is a solid, well-known Buy Now sniper, and plenty of people are happy with it. The reasons traders go looking for something else are fairly consistent:

  • The price is a single lump. It is sold for the rest of the FC 27 cycle, so if you want to trade for a month around a promo, you pay the same as somebody trading all year.
  • You want to try it first. Paying up front to find out whether a sniper suits how you trade is a leap.
  • You want harder limits. A max price per card is the common one. A run budget and a coins floor are not.
  • You want more than sniping — bidding, SBC solving, pack opening — and would rather have one tool than three.

Which of those matters to you decides which alternative is right, so it is worth being honest with yourself about it before you look at the list.

What to look for in an autobuyer

We wrote a longer buyer's checklist, but the short version is five questions:

  • Where does it run? An extension inside the Web App has less distance between seeing a listing and buying it than a tool reaching in from outside. We go into this in Chrome extension vs app autobuyer.
  • What stops it? Look for a per-card ceiling, a budget for the whole run, and a floor of coins it will not spend past.
  • What happens when something breaks? A good bot stops on a soft ban or a captcha instead of hammering away and making it worse.
  • Does it ever ask for your EA password? It should not need to. Nothing on this list that runs in your own browser asks for one.
  • What does a season actually cost? Monthly plans and commissions add up differently to a one-off key.

1. FC AutoBuyer

Best for: traders who want a cheap, careful Buy Now sniper and want to try it first.

Ours. A Chrome extension that runs inside the Ultimate Team Web App, so there is no app, no server of ours between you and the listing, and nothing that ever asks for your EA password. You set a filter and a max price, press start, and it buys anything at or under it. It can auto list what it buys as well.

The part we would point at if you only read one line: it checks a max price per card, a budget for the whole run, and a floor of coins it will not spend past before every single buy, and it refuses to list a card for less than it cost you once EA's 5% tax comes off. It stops itself on a soft ban or a captcha rather than digging the hole deeper.

Pricing is a one-off key: £7.99 for a month, £19.99 for six, £29.99 until EA FC 27 ends. Nothing renews. There is a free two hour trial in our Discord: type /trial and a key comes back privately, no card and no email address.

Where it is behind: it does not bid, solve SBCs or open packs. If you want an all-in-one toolkit, numbers 4 and 5 do more. It is also the newest tool here and has the fewest users of any extension on this list.

2. shortfuts auto

Best for: traders who want an established name and will use it all season.

The one you are probably comparing against. A Chrome extension that snipes Buy Now listings from inside the Web App: set a filter, press start, and it buys while you are away. On the Chrome Web Store it holds a 4.6 rating from 11 ratings with around 988 users, checked 6 October 2026, which puts it among the better reviewed tools here.

It is sold as one price for the rest of FC 27, listed at $50 on their own site when we checked on 17 September 2026. That is good value if you trade all year and poor value if you want a sniper for one promo week.

Where it is ahead of us: it has been around longer and has a bigger community behind it. Where we think it falls short: there is no way to try it before paying, and the spending controls do not go as far as a run budget and a coins floor.

We have a full FC AutoBuyer vs ShortFUT comparison if you want the detail.

3. EAFC Sniper, formerly FutSnipe

Best for: traders who want the most widely used extension on this list.

Listed on the Chrome Web Store as "FC 27 Sniping Bot - EAFC Sniper", with around 8,000 users and a 4.9 rating from 96 ratings when we checked on 6 October 2026. That makes it the most installed and one of the best rated tools here by some distance, which is worth something on its own.

It is a Chrome extension with a smart autobuyer and an auto sell mode, and it needs a licence bought through their store. We have not put a price in this table because their licensing is sold through their own shop and we would rather send you to the source than quote a figure that moves.

Where it is ahead of us: far more users, far more reviews, and an auto sell mode built around relisting for profit. What we would check: what the hard spending limits actually are before you let it run unattended.

4. FUT Sniping Bot by Futrich

Best for: traders who want sniping, bidding and an SBC solver in one extension, paid once.

A Chrome extension listed as "FUT Sniping Bot | Futrich Autobuyer & AI SBC Solver", with around 4,000 users and a 5.0 rating from 372 ratings, checked 6 October 2026. That is the largest body of positive reviews of anything on this list.

It costs £24.99 one-off for FC 27, or £29.98 with its mobile app, from their site on 17 September 2026. For that you get sniping, bidding, auto listing and an SBC solver, which is a lot for one payment.

Where it is ahead of us: bidding and SBC solving, which we do not do, plus a mobile app. Where we are ahead: the run budget and coins floor, the refusal to list at a loss, and a free trial. Full detail in our FC AutoBuyer vs FUT Sniping Bot comparison.

5. FUTEXE exeSniper

Best for: traders who want the widest toolkit and do not mind paying for passes.

A Chrome extension with the broadest feature set here: buying, bidding, selling, SBCs, pack opening and an Evolutions builder. It is sold as one-off passes that do not auto-renew, from $17 for 30 days up to $196 for 365 days, from their site on 17 September 2026. There is a 24 hour trial, though it needs account confirmation and Telegram.

Where it is ahead of us: almost everything that is not Buy Now sniping, and it has a genuinely useful set of free tools alongside the paid autobuyer. Where we are ahead: cost, if all you want is sniping, and the spending limits. See the FC AutoBuyer vs FUTEXE comparison.

6. FUT Simple Trader

Best for: traders who want the same tool on more than one kind of device.

A trading suite rather than a single extension, with apps across several platforms, on a monthly or yearly plan: from £14.90 a month or £89 a year, plus VAT, on their site on 17 September 2026. Over a full FC 27 cycle that is the most expensive option on this list.

Where it is ahead of us: it runs in more places than a Chrome extension can, and it has a large trading community around it. Where we are ahead: cost, and a key that does not renew. See the FC AutoBuyer vs FUT Simple Trader comparison.

7. FUTMania

Best for: people who would rather not run anything themselves.

The odd one out, and the one to read the terms on. FUTMania runs its bot on its own servers rather than in your browser. You connect your FUT account to their dashboard, and it trades on your behalf and takes a commission on the coins it earns.

Where it is ahead of us: you do not need to leave a browser open, and there is nothing to pay up front. What to weigh: connecting your account to a third party's system is a different kind of decision to running an extension locally, and a commission on coins earned has no ceiling the way a one-off key does. Our FC AutoBuyer vs FUTMania comparison goes through it properly.

8. FC Copilot

Best for: worth a look if the bigger names do not suit, but it is early.

A Chrome extension published by futbotmanager.com, listed on the Web Store as "EA FC 26 Sniping Bot & Autobuyer (fccopilot.com)", offering a sniping mode and an autobuyer with rate limits. Checked on 6 October 2026 it had around 249 users and a 3.7 rating from 3 ratings, so there is not much of a track record to go on yet, and the store listing still names FC 26. Pricing is on their site; we could not load it when we checked, so we are not going to quote a number.

9. Futcoinbuddy

Best for: the same, with even less to go on.

A Chrome extension from futcoinbuddy.com describing itself as an all-in-one automated trading tool, with instant sniping, auto selling and account safety features. On 6 October 2026 it had around 113 users and no ratings at all. We include it because it is a real, listed tool and this list should be complete, not because we can tell you it is good. Check their site for pricing.

10. No bot at all

Best for: anyone who is not willing to risk a transfer ban.

It belongs on the list, because it is the only option here that does not break EA's rules. Manual sniping in the Web App costs nothing and cannot get your account actioned for automation. You will be slower than anyone running a bot, but filters, timing and knowing the market do most of the work anyway.

If you go this way, our transfer market trading guide, best sniping filters and best times to buy and sell are all free and all apply whether you use a tool or not.

Which one should you pick?

  • Cheapest way to snipe for one promo week: FC AutoBuyer at £7.99, or manual sniping at nothing.
  • Most users and reviews behind it: EAFC Sniper, then FUT Sniping Bot by Futrich.
  • One payment, widest features: FUT Sniping Bot by Futrich at £24.99.
  • Everything including SBCs, packs and Evolutions: FUTEXE.
  • Same tool across devices: FUT Simple Trader.
  • Nothing to run and nothing up front: FUTMania, if you are comfortable connecting your account.
  • Hardest spending limits and a free trial: FC AutoBuyer.
  • No risk of a ban for automation: no bot at all.

The risk nobody should skip

Every tool on this list except the last one automates the transfer market, and automating the transfer market breaks EA's rules. People do get transfer bans for it. No extension, ours included, can promise you will not, and you should be suspicious of any that implies otherwise.

What you can do is reduce how obvious you are: sensible delays, limits that stop a run going strange, and not leaving a bot hammering the market for sixteen hours. We wrote up what actually helps in how to avoid a ban using an autobuyer and transfer market soft bans explained. Both are worth reading whichever tool you end up with.

FAQs

It depends what you want from it. For the lowest price and the hardest spending limits, FC AutoBuyer costs £7.99 for a month or £29.99 until EA FC 27 ends, and has a free two hour trial. For the most established tool, EAFC Sniper had around 8,000 Chrome Web Store users when we checked on 6 October 2026. For sniping, bidding and SBC solving in one payment, FUT Sniping Bot by Futrich was £24.99.

No autobuyer here is permanently free, but FC AutoBuyer has a free two hour trial that needs no card and no email address: join the Discord and type /trial. Manual sniping in the Web App is free and is the only option on the list that does not break EA's rules.

shortfuts auto was listed at $50 for the rest of EA FC 27 on their own site when we checked on 17 September 2026. It is one payment rather than a subscription. Prices change, so check their site before buying.

Yes. Automating the transfer market breaks EA's rules and people do receive transfer bans for it. No tool can promise otherwise, including ours. Sensible delays, hard spending limits and shorter sessions reduce how obvious you are, but they do not remove the risk.

The Chrome extensions on this list run inside the official Ultimate Team Web App in your own browser, using the session you are already signed into, so they do not need your EA password. FUTMania is different: it runs on its own servers and you connect your FUT account to their dashboard, so read their terms first.
