Promo

Future Stars Team 1 is here. Everything in it, and how to snipe it.

Team 1 goes live in EA FC 27 at 6pm UK on Friday 9 October. Fifteen cards, led by a 90 rated Vicky López. The first hour after a promo drops is the cheapest the market gets all week, and the underpriced listings are gone in under a second.

Key takeaways

  • Team 1 goes live at 6pm UK on Friday 9 October. Fifteen cards.
  • Vicky López at 90 is the headline, with Ngumoha on 89 and a 93 pace stat.
  • They are live cards, so the stats upgrade through the season and the price tends to climb rather than bleed away.
  • The cheapest listings of the whole promo appear in the first twenty minutes, while nobody has a price yet.
  • Those listings are gone in under a second, which is the entire reason a Buy Now sniper exists.
  • The free trial is two hours and needs no card. That is the window that matters, so get the key before six.

When Future Stars Team 1 drops

6pm UK time on Friday 9 October 2026. That is 7pm CET and 1pm ET, and it is the usual EA FC content slot, so set a timer rather than trusting yourself to remember.

The squad below comes from the Team 1 graphic put out by FUT Sheriff and LeanDesign, carrying the official stats rather than predictions. All credit for the artwork and the leak goes to them.

One detail worth knowing before you buy anything: these are live cards. The ratings upgrade during the season as the players perform, which is why Future Stars tend to hold their price and often climb, rather than sliding the way a one off promo card does.

Risser is a goalkeeper, so those six are DIV, HAN, KIC, REF, SPD and POS rather than the outfield stats.

A few things stand out. Ngumoha at 89 with 93 pace is the card every pace merchant in the game will want, which usually means it does not stay cheap. Lewis-Skelly on 88 at CDM with 86 defending and 88 physical is a Premier League link that fits in almost every English side. And Vicky López on 90 will be the one people chase, so the price on that is anybody’s guess for the first few hours.

It is a mixed team, which matters more than it sounds. Vicky López, Yohannes and Blindkilde Brown come out of Liga F, the Arkema Première Ligue and the Barclays WSL, and those cards trade on a thinner market than a Premier League name. Thin markets are where mispriced listings sit longest.

The quieter ones are where the coins are. A 85 rated keeper and two 85 rated centre backs are not the cards anyone is posting about, which is exactly why they get listed too cheap by people clearing pack pulls at speed.

Why the first hour is the cheapest

Every promo does the same thing to the market, and it is worth understanding rather than just reacting to.

  • Nobody knows the price yet. For the first twenty minutes there is barely any sales history, so people guess. Some guess far too low.
  • Packs are being opened in bulk. Thousands of people rip packs the second a promo lands, and a chunk of them list everything instantly at whatever the game suggests.
  • Coins are needed right now. Anyone chasing an SBC or the headline card sells fast and cheap to raise a balance.
  • The rest of the market dips too. New content pulls coins out of existing cards, so meta players from last month soften at the same time. Our promo trading guide covers that cycle properly.

Put together, the hour from six o’clock is the single best sniping window of the week. It is also the hour the Web App is at its busiest, with the most people refreshing the same searches.

That is the problem. A card listed at a third of its value does not sit there waiting. It is bought within a second, often less, and not by somebody clicking a mouse.

What to snipe, and at what price

You do not need to catch Vicky López to have a good night. You need volume.

  1. The 85s and 86s, not the headline card. The top card has every eye on it. The eighth best card in the squad has a thin market and far more mispriced listings.
  2. The positions nobody wants. Goalkeepers and centre backs from a promo get dumped cheap because the people opening packs want the winger. Risser on 85 and the two 85 rated defenders are the obvious candidates.
  3. Set a Max Buy Now and leave it alone. Pick a number you would be happy to pay at midnight, not the number you feel at six o’clock. Panic buying in hour one is how promo nights go wrong.
  4. Do not sell on the first night. Promo cards are at their cheapest in hour one and climb once the supply of packs dries up, and live cards give you a second reason to hold: an upgrade later in the season lifts the price again. When to buy and sell goes into the timing.
  5. Remember the tax. EA takes 5% of every sale, not of your profit. Our tax explainer and the EA tax calculator will do the sum for you.

Filters to run at 6pm

Three filters, in this order, is a sensible promo night.

  • A single named card. Pick one of the 85s, set a Max Buy Now under what you think it settles at, and let it run. One card, one price, no thinking.
  • Position and rating. Rating 85 to 86, one position, Buy Now ceiling set. Catches the cards nobody is specifically hunting.
  • The knock on effect. Last month’s meta cards soften while everyone chases new content. A rating band on existing golds often pays better than the promo itself.

Our sniping filters guide has the full setup, and best players to snipe is worth a read before six. The more a filter is shared, the worse it performs, so take the shape of these and put your own numbers in.

Get set up before kick off

There is no point reading this at 6:05 and then spending twenty minutes installing something. The window is the window.

  1. Add the extension to Chrome. It runs inside the Ultimate Team Web App, so there is no separate app and nothing sits between the listing and your buy.
  2. Get a free key. Join the Discord, type /trial, and it comes back privately in seconds. No card and no email address.
  3. Paste it in and press Activate. Your two hours start when you activate, not when you collect the key, so do that at six and not before.
  4. Set your limits first. A run budget and a coins floor mean the autobuyer stops rather than spending your club on a promo night.
  5. Load your filter and let it go. It buys at the speed of the market rather than the speed of your hand.

Two hours free is the whole drop window. If it catches nothing you have lost nothing, and if it catches two cards it has already paid for a month several times over. A month is £7.99, paid once, and nothing renews. For what that buys against the same money spent on packs, see are FC Points worth it.

FAQs

6pm UK time on Friday 9 October 2026, which is 7pm CET and 1pm ET. That is EA's usual content slot for a new promo team.

Fifteen cards, led by Vicky Lopez at 90 rated. Ngumoha is 89 with 93 pace, Godts and Lewis-Skelly are both 88, and Bonny, Mora and Jacobo Ramon are 87. The rest sit on 85 and 86. The squad and official stats come from the FUT Sheriff and LeanDesign graphic.

The graphic comes from FUT Sheriff, who posts it with official stats rather than predictions, and we have credited it as theirs. Nothing is confirmed until EA puts the team in the game at 6pm, so treat it as a very well informed leak rather than an EA announcement.

The cards nobody is talking about. The headline player has every trader watching it, so the mispriced listings are on the 85s and 86s, especially keepers and centre backs that people dump while clearing pack pulls.

You can try, but a listing at a third of market value is usually gone in under a second during a promo hour. That is the gap an autobuyer closes: it buys the moment something lands under your price rather than when you manage to click.

Join our Discord and type /trial. A two hour key comes back privately in seconds, with no card and no email address. The two hours start when you activate the key, so collect it early and activate it at 6pm.
